The solar calendar is one of the three common calendar systems in use, it was originally created following the flow of seasons, for people to properly keep track of the year passing, orientating themselves on the current season as well, the calendar is also directly tied to Atoq for the divisions of its eras.
Structure
The solar calendar is divided in 4 months: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, of 80 days each for a total of 320 days.
The months are also commonly further divided in 4 sections of 20 days, to keep better track of the month passing, this division is by no means official and doesn’t appear officially in any calendar.

Descents
Another division of the calendar is called a Descent, since the calendar’s years fully reset on the occasion that Atoq is summoned, because of it, the seasons in the calendar may result skewed compared to real seasons.
