That demons are the product of fallen angels and humans, a lot, and I say A LOT of the racial bias and laws targeting them come from the wrong assumption that they descend from devils, who they share many traits with (purely coincidentally)
Knowing this would shift a lot of the opinion towards them, especially coming from humans, for sure many more humans would be much more uncomfortable discriminating a race that is the closest thing to them.
How is the time/date commonly marked down in your world?
In the Solar Calendar, it’s marked down as day-month-year-descent, so for example you’d have “5th day of Summer, 206, 2nd descent” the descent is only noted on important documents.
In the Lunar Calendar, you instead go year-alignment-day-month, so for example: “Year 1045 of the 2nd alignment, 12th day of 4th Demilune”, here it’s more common to use the alignment.
Chronos’ scribes, the only current user of the Scribe Calendar, ALWAYS marks the date down as year-month-day, so you’d write down, for example: “19845 Seventh 32nd”, it is standardised, so it’s always written down the same exact way on every document.
Do you have any fictional political ideologies? What are their core values?
Not quite a political ideology, but I feel like sharing it: the Green Kingdom has a parliament divided based on the races that inhabit it, with percentages close to how the population is to represent the population fairly, and it doesn’t have a singular representative but instead a group of representatives, one for each race, that basically rotate whenever an event requires the need for just one representative.
Has there been any successful attempts of reanimating the dead in your world, whether using Magic or technology?
It is entirely possible to do in various ways, one that includes summoning the spirit of the dead from its place, one instead where you make a golem using the body as the golem itself.
Basically in the first method, you will have to place a healing spell on the body to keep it from rotting, then draw a summoning circle to summon the spirit you want from the plane they come from, the spirit has to be willing, otherwise you’ll need an additional spell to force it to inhabit and stay bound to the body, this connection might be broken by magic much stronger than yours, and the body will have to be maintained from rotting, and the binding spell (if the spirit is forced) is directly tied to you, which means of you run out of soul, the spell will drop and the spirit will be allowed back to their origin plane.
If it is instead a golem, you are very simply putting a new core into the body, and you are giving it a piece of your soul to stay animated, which allows it to last beyond your death or if you run out of soul, but it won’t be sentient and won’t have actually resurrected the person.
Another way is just reanimating the corpse (which is what is called necromancy, specifically black necromancy) where you are basically puppeteering the body through its muscle and tendons (or bones!), to get it to move and do your will.
